Lemon Juice

Lemon juice promotes hydration by enhancing water flavor which can make you drink more. It's a good source of vitamin C and antioxidants with one lemon containing about 31mg of vitamin C. This may help prevent cold and reduce risk of heart disease. Drinking lemon water improves skin quality, aids weightloss and help control high blood pressure. It may lower cholesterol and it's good for digestive health. The citric acid in lemon juice may help prevent kidney stones.

    Steps:

  1. Roll the lemons on the worktop in a circular motion or roll between your palms. This is so they are easy to juice.
  2. Cut each lemons into 2 equal parts and juice.
  3. Pour the freshly squeezed lemon juice into a pitcher then add in 2 liters of cold water.
  4. Add in sliced lemons (Optional) and sugar if using.
  5. Stir well and put in the fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes or immediately serve on ice.
